Batik is a form of textile art native to Malaysian culture.  The best batik originates from the east coast of Malaysia (Kelantan, Trengganu and Pahang). Malaysian batik is famous for its geometrical designs, motifs of butterflies, leaves and flowers, and tend to be lighter and more vibrant in colour.
